A MindScape Q&A with Me
Sep 18, 2018What prompted you to pursue becoming a MindScape Instructor?
I have been continually blown away by the infinite power and results of harnessing the full capabilities of the mind. I have known since the first time I took MindScape in 2009, that I wanted to become an instructor - I could feel it in my bones from day one! MindScape has had such a positive impact on my life, and the lives of my family members, that I can't even begin to describe how grateful I am that I was introduced to it. I wanted to be able to show others how to tap into this incredible power that most of us lost as children, long ago. My goal has been to help clients reconnect with their true selves and learn to listen to their bodies and their inner compass. What better tool to have in your power at any time?! MindScape has totally resonated with my soul since day one, and that is exactly why I am a MindScape Instructor.
How has MindScape benefitted you?
The uses for MindScape are seriously infinite. I know that may seem like a bit of an exaggeration, but it honestly is not at all. Whatever your mind can dream up, you can use MindScape for. The biggest benefit that I have experienced with MindScape is that it has helped me connect with myself, learn about myself, shift, grow, and change, and achieve my greatest goals and desires. It has allowed me to communicate with my young daughter and understand what she is feeling. I have used MindScape for studying and successfully completed some of the most difficult and intimidating exams in my life. With every client that comes into my Studio, I use MindScape to connect with his/her bodymind to get the information required for balancing. I could go on for days!
Can anyone take MindScape?
Yes, absolutely! There are no pre-requisites for MindScape. And the BEST part about MindScape is that everyone who takes the course can use the techniques sucessfully.
Who would you recommend take your MindScape Workshop?
Honestly, MindScape can be a game changer. I truly believe that everyone on the planet should take this course. It teaches you how to harness the incredible power of your mind so you can use it like the supercomputer it is! MindScape will change the way you think about the world and how you look at everything that happens in the world around you. It is an incredible tool for utilizing your own potential and excelling in every area of life (work, sports, parenting, learning, creating, personal development, etc). I think this is a course that all kids should take too. I took MindScape when I was 22 and I wish I was introduced to these techniques when I was even younger. It would've made life, studying, sports, relationships, etc SO MUCH EASIER!
What is your main goal in teaching MindScape?
My goal with teaching MindScape is to help students think outside the box, move out of their comfort zones in order to enable them to shift their perspective, question and challenge their beliefs. I hope to empower my students to empower themselves, and guide them through to a whole new level of self awareness. Each individual is the only one who has the power to make a change. I am here to guide and support my students in the journey of awakening their awareness.
What makes you unique as an instructor?
I am very intuitive, but explain this information in a left-brained way that makes the content more digestible for students. I am passionate about what I do and I believe it is important to lead by example. I truly believe the benefits of the courses I offer and lead by example in utilizing the techniques and participating in my own online offerings alongside students. It is important to me that I take the time to take care of my own health, so I can be the best version of myself for my students, my family, & my friends.
I am a very compassionate and intuitive instructor. These qualities allow me to be very good at meeting students 'where they are at', in order to help them to see for themselves the possible reasons why they are there, and then encouraging them to shift through to achieve their goals.
What is your educational background?
In 2008, I graduated from Mercyhurst College with Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine. I began studying the BodyTalk System in 2008 while working as a physiotherapy assistant for a year. I decided I wanted a modality to compliment my holistic endeavours so I moved to Toronto to add Massage Therapy and Acupuncture to my resume, which I completed in 2010. (Unfortunately, I am not able to practice acupuncture in Saskatchewan.) I proudly completed my Advanced BodyTalk Certification in 2011. In 2012, I became a BodyTalk Access Instructor in order to share my inspiration of proactive healthcare. In 2015, I graduated as a MindScape Instructor and have been over the moon excited to be teaching this incredible, life-changing course ever since!
